Privacy policy

HeedKeep is made by Code Crafted Nexus LLC, a Kentucky company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the HeedKeep app and this website, and what we do with it. Questions? Write to legal@codecraftednexusllc.com.

What we collect

• Your email address, to create your account and send you sign-in codes.
• Your recordings, in compressed form. Your original files stay on your computer. When you add a recording, the app makes a smaller compressed audio copy and uploads it so it can be transcribed and searched.
• What we create from your recordings: transcripts, summaries, notes, scripture references and the search index.
• Account and usage details, such as your plan, the devices you have signed in on, and how many sermons you have processed, so we can apply plan limits.
• Purchase information. Payments are handled by Paddle. We receive your email, what you bought and the transaction reference. We never see your card number.

How your recordings are processed

To turn audio into text and summaries we send it to service providers that perform these tasks for us: a speech-to-text provider for transcription, and Claude, an AI model from Anthropic, for summaries and for answering your questions. We send only what is needed for the task you asked for. We do not sell your recordings or your data, and we do not use them for advertising.

Where data is stored

Your account and the material above are stored with Supabase, our hosting and database provider. Access is restricted so that your library is visible only to your account.

Your choices

• Delete everything. The app can delete your recordings and everything made from them. You can also write to us to delete your account.
• Access and correction. Ask us for a copy of your information or to correct it.

How long we keep it

We keep your library until you delete it or close your account. Purchase records are kept as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.

This website

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google when a page loads. We do not use advertising trackers.

Children

HeedKeep is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you by email.
